MONITORING

Our engineers are continuing to address the temperature issues.

May 25, 2026 20:45 BST
MONITORING

Temperatues within the cold isles are reducing across the DC. While we are working to return to normal operating temperatures, please note that data centre access is not permitted until further notice.

May 25, 2026 21:16 BST
MONITORING

We continue to see temperature stability within the data hall. Additional cooling units are en-route to site to help disperse the latent heat.

May 25, 2026 23:24 BST
MONITORING

Temperatures within the cold isles and the rest of the data hall are continuing to return to operational levels. For support tickets that have requested assistance to power on equipment, we are now processing these and you will start to see systems come back online. We are here on site to assist you with other power on requests. please raise these the portal. If you your team require access to site, we are now allowing limited escorted access by appointment, starting at 00:30, 26th May. Please raise a support ticket in addition to your regular access request, and our team will advise on the next available time for engineer assisted access.

May 25, 2026 23:58 BST
MONITORING

Environmental conditions within the data hall remain stable and temperatures continue to trend towards expected parameters. Following further review of the current operating conditions, our HVAC engineers remain confident that services will continue to remain stable throughout the day tomorrow. The incident remains open for the time being, and we will continue to monitor conditions closely and provide updates via this page should there be any significant changes.

Description

Please be aware of a series of planned power maintenance activities at the KAO Data Harlow facility affecting ServerChoice Technical Suite TS-04. These works form part of KAO Data’s statutory 5-year electrical fixed wire testing programme and are mandated by KAO Data as the datacentre operator. The works are planned as follows: • UPS-4-A: Saturday 6 June 2026 07:00 to Sunday 7 June 2026 17:00 • UPS-4-B: Saturday 13 June 2026 07:00 to Sunday 14 June 2026 17:00 • UPS-4-C: Saturday 20 June 2026 07:00 to Sunday 21 June 2026 17:00 Only one UPS stream per technical suite will be isolated at any given time. Equipment with dual power feeds will have one feed available throughout the works. Single-feed equipment connected solely to the UPS stream under test WILL experience a power interruption during the relevant window. We therefore recommend for these devices that a Static Transfer Switch (STS) is installed within the rack, which will automatically switch between feeds during power isolation. These can be sourced by the customer, or ServerChoice are able to supply and install one for £650.00 + VAT. Please contact your account manager should you wish to take advantage of this discounted rate. ServerChoice engineering staff will be available on-site to respond immediately to any issues. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the maintenance in more detail, please get in touch via your regular ServerChoice support channels. Kind regards, Your ServerChoice Team
